Do you need tailor-made free-of-charge technical assistance to shape bankable climate
neutral and sustainable city project ideas? Do you need support to find a suitable investor

The Smart Cities Marketplace is an independent non-commercial initiative funded by the European Commission bringing together cities, industry, SMEs and investors to implement such urban projects and ideas of cities, or city and technical developer consortia. Measuring wellbeing in the city's climate neutral journey using co benefit indicators
Wednesday 2 October | 17:30 to 19:00 | 1.08 Tunnelen
We invite cities and colleagues to strategise on co benefit indicators on health, wellbeing, nature and cultural impact of climate action. The choice of what we measure and how we measure impacts our climate neutral journey. We will address the current indicator landscape, encourage cities and colleagues to share their work or thoughts on indicators, strategise on lessons learnt and the way forward.
As part of the ICLEI European Secretariat MEL team across two EU Missions on Mitigation and Adaptation, this session will focus on case examples from cities and projects to illustrate the relevance of the indicators as a possible red thread across the measurable impact. On 5 break out tables focusing on different sets of indicators, we aim to discuss: design of indicators, system of collecting indicator data, system of reporting data, system of validating indicators, system of drawing comparison between cities, aggregating indicator data from frameworks to inspire others to begin/continue/intensify mapping on indicators.
